Louisiana Crawfish Producers Association-West is an organization whose main objective is to help keep the public informed of our rights to the navigable waterways. We are located on the west side of the Atchafalaya Basin Protection Levee. The LCPA-WEST benefits crawfisherman, fisherman, trappers, shrimpers, hunters, photographers, tourists, canoers, bird watchers, or anyone else who uses our nation's navigable water bottoms. The vast majority of our state's coastal wetlands are claimed by private out of state corporate interest, even though millions of dollars of federal moneys are spent, we have no public access. There are forces at work to do the same to the Atchafalaya Basin, one of our nation's last natural wildernesses. Help us fight to keep our water ways free forever!
